Private Sewing Lessons

Mobile sewing lessons – assistance for your project in progress!

I offer private sewing lessons for ages 4 years old and up, including adults. My rate is currently $50 per hour (minimum 1 hour, prorated in 15 minute increments thereafter) and I come to your home or community space within a 15 mile radius of the 19803 zip code. Alternatively, lessons can be held at First Unitarian Church of Wilmington off route 202/Concord Pike.

If needed, I can bring sewing machines to the lesson (add $10), as well as materials such as fabric and project supplies and a sewing tool kit for you or your student’s use. Please discuss your needs ahead of time and we’ll agree to the cost of materials.

I teach TOTAL BEGINNERS, as one of my joys is in helping students to “get over the hump” of being able to confidently thread their sewing machine (or hand sewing needle) and get to work! I look forward to working with you to make your visions a reality!
