Private Sewing Lessons

Mobile sewing lessons – assistance for your project in progress!

I offer private sewing lessons for ages 4 years old and up, including adults. My rate is currently $50 per hour* and I come to your home or community space in the vicinity of Wilmington, DE or Newark, DE. Alternatively, lessons can be held at First Unitarian Church of Wilmington if needed.

*Financial assistance may be available based upon your circumstances.

If needed, I can bring sewing machines to the lesson, as well as materials such as fabric and project supplies and a sewing tool kit for you or your student’s use.

I teach beginners primarily as one of my joys is helping students “get over the hump” of being able to confidently thread their sewing machine (or hand sewing needle) and get to work on fun sewing projects of interest!
